Prep roundup: Erisman hits two HRs in Broncos' win
SNELLVILLE - Jordan Erisman was 3-for-3 with two home runs and a single to help lead Brookwood 6-0 over Shiloh on Friday.

Ryan Lewis was 1-for-4 and Ronnie Freeman, Grayson Flack and Buddy Jones were each 1-for-3. Chase Hawkins was 1-for-2 and Jon Robinson was 1-for-1 for Brookwood (19-1).

Matt Adams pitched six innings and gave up three hits, three walks and struck out 10 batters for the Broncos.

BASEBALL

Parkview 9, Central 4


LAWRENCEVILLE - Brandon Jacobs went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs as Parkview (16-5) beat Central Gwinnett 9-4 on Friday.

Matt Foster was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Caleb Shrader was 1-for-3 with two RBIs for the Panthers. Tom Richardson and Josh Hall were both 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Zach Cone threw 52⁄3 innings and gave up five hits, four runs, two walks and struck out eight batters and got the win.

Cliff Carter picked up his seventh save after pitching 11⁄3 innings and giving up four hits and striking out one.

North Gwinnett 11, Collins Hill 6

SUWANEE - Bill Huff hit a two-run home run to help North Gwinnett take an 11-6 win over Collins Hill on Friday.

Taylor Forrester added a solo home run for North and Christopher Hawkins was 4-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs. Jim Moreland was 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs and Ronnie Stewart was 3-for-5 with an RBI. Josh Wright, Nick McCouch and Nick Jones each had two hits. Nick Jones (4-1) got the win after pitching four innings, and Chad White picked up the save after pitching the last three innings for North (15-6).

South Forsyth 7, Duluth 4

DULUTH - Luke Jordan picked up the loss after giving up three earned runs in six innings as Duluth fell to South Forsyth 7-4 on Friday.

Jordan was 3-for-4 at the plate and Reid Merwin was 3-for-2 with two RBIs. Jared VanCamp was 3-for-2 for Duluth (3-17).

Dacula 13, Alcovy 6

DACULA - Taylor Smith (2-4) picked up the win after pitching five innings and giving up four runs, five hits and struck out seven batters as Dacula beat Alcovy 13-6 on Friday.

At the plate, Smith was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs and Jeremy Kien was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Ryan Schuble was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Chris Owens was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Tyler Jarvis was 1-for-4 with an RBI for Dacula (9-13).

Marist 6, Mill Creek 4

ATLANTA - Johnny Knight was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, but it wasn't enough for the Hawks as Mill Creek fell to Marist 6-4 on Friday.

Jake German was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Zach Hogan was 2-for-3 for Mill Creek (15-5). Brandon Bast (5-1) got the loss.

Norcross 8, Forsyth Central 0

CUMMING - Tyler Roach (3-0) faced 26 batters, struck out 10 and pitched a no hitter until the bottom of the seventh inning when Forsyth Central got its only hit as Norcross won 8-0 on Friday.

Offensively, Roach was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Peter Poole went 1-for-2 with two runs, a home run and three RBIs and Beau Buckler was 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Norcross (14-7).

North Forsyth 7, Peachtree Ridge 1

CUMMING - Chris Brunatti went 2-for-4 with an home run, but it wasn't enough for Peachtree Ridge as the Lions fell 7-1 to North Forsyth on Friday.

Nate Chong had a double and Mitch Williford had a hit for Peachtree Ridge (8-12).

Wesleyan 12, Cross Keys 2

ATLANTA - Wesleyan (13-3) took a 12-2 victory over Cross Keys on Friday.

Drew Fithian pitched five innings, gave up two runs and struck out eight batters to get the win. Phillip Freeman had two hits and Brooks Colquitt, Bobby Worthington, Brent Pugh and Lee Ellis each had two hits apiece for the Wolves.

On Thursday night, Wesleyan shut out Paideia 13-0. Kevin Ruiz had two hits, including a home run, and Conor Welton, Conner Winn and Grayson Garvin each had two hits. Devin Stanton got the win after pitching three innings and striking out six.

Jefferson 11, Hebron 1

JEFFERSON - Hebron fell to Jefferson 11-1 in six innings on Friday.

Mike Wilkerson was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI and David Reis was 1-for-3. Reis registered the loss after pitching five innings and giving up 11 hits for Hebron (11-7).

BOYS LACROSSE

GAC 8, Wheeler 7


MARIETTA - Scotty Smith lead GAC with three goals as the Spartans took am 8-7 win over Wheeler on Friday night.

Blake Guy scored two goals and Christian Fretz had 12 ground balls for GAC (7-8).

GIRLS TENNIS

Dacula wins region


DANIELSVILLE - Dacula beat Habersham in the semifinals and defeated Madison County in the finals to win the Region 8-AAAA championship on Friday.

Against Habersham, Caitlin Hosford won at No. 2 singles and Holly Knight and Stephanie Weeden won at No. 1 doubles. Paige Carver and Abby Crowe won at No. 2 doubles for Dacula.

Against Madison County, Mariel Herrera won at No. 1 singles and Hosford won at No. 2 singles, while Carver and Crowe won at No. 2 doubles for Dacula.
